Its a 12 episode taster series. They aren't going to throw in all these characters with complex back stories, i.e. Rogue, Gambit, Magneto etc. I think for 12 episodes its pretty good, and not nearly as childish as "Evolution" or "Wolverine and the Xmen", where they look like 12 year olds in tights. The artwork is amazing too. I just wish they made Storm the strong black female that she is, not whimpering with tear drops on her head after every lightning strike.

I like X-men, so I'll probably watch this. But the problem I have with this is that *spoilers* Jean dies, theres no Magneto, No Kitty Pryde, No Rogue, No Nightcrawler, No Gambit, they go to Japan JUST so that the Japanese makers of this show can put their culture into it, etc.

I want to watch more X-Men anime episode. I want to see Apocalypse, Magneto, Sinister, Omega Red, and Alien space fighters. I know Jeans isn't dead because she is still alive. I also want to see the rest of X-Men character in the anime too if they are going to make more.

Don't you even dare to watch this. I haven't read the comics at all and I still cringed at least every five minutes.

Guys watch Xmen Evolution for a better screen portrayal of Xmen... this anime sucks, the characters are bland... if anyone who are avid readers of the uncanny xmen comics (90s)... can you PLEASE tell me your opinion of this show cause I am going crazy
