Dassault Rafales at NAS Oceana

The French Navy showed up here at NAS Oceana for about month for a joint trainning excersise with some of the boys from VFA-213,31 and 87. This was a nice change to see at Oceana because of the fact that this was the first time that Ive ever seen a foreign fighter fly. These clips were taken from runway 14 and 23.

It seems that french advanced fighters are training more often with the US Air force... Good news and Excellent shooting, Pal! These birds are great!

It was a lot of fun having those guys here. It was a nice deal to see some foreign aircraft. Correction though, lol these hornets are the US NAVY. but its all good! This was the first time that Ive ever seen a french fighter.

@Lampiono69 French navy is a kind of brother of us navy, same pilot school, same kind of carrier (even if us carrier are giant), the rafale was test in the usa for carrier landing (if someone have a video...) then some hornet land one french CVN

You're right. as the french navy has one aircraft carrier [like the Russian], they also train on US Navy aircraft carriers when its possible. Because unlike the Russians their technology is 100 % compatible with the US navy.
