  • I must say I disagree with the Lama on this topic. I think these preconcieved principles about what is male and female, is a very anachronistic way of thinking which will only constrain our lives.

  • how nice that for once someone disagrees politely.

  • buddha said that in every country the dharma would have to be stylised and adapted to make it effective. this was true when it spread to china, tibet and sri lanka. and its true now for europe, the US, s.america, africa too. I like the ole.

  • @vthoe, part2 :) Until man cannot give birth i think it is better to "stick" to the basic principles. Because those will help you to live a more balanced life as woman or man. Hm?

  • @vthoe:Well, vthoe first i'd like to hear from you, what do you consider being modern. Because as i see and almost everybody can see not the economic is on crysis, but the man-women relationship as well. Humanity nowadays in trouble defining what does really mean being male or female. Yes, the world has changed a lot and most of the principle motivations/energies what Ole talks about can be found more and more in both gender. Woman have more male attributes and vica-verse.

  • Lama Ole, please do not laugh at me, I just wanna turn to you for help. I'm a European girl, who wanted to know more about human spirit. I'm so suffering for dead fear. My life makes me doin' boring, frightenning things all day, I have to live with ill people together and it makes me miserable. Please, sent a message I don't mind with whom and I'll feel GRATITUDE FOREVER. THANK YOU VERY MUCH INDEED.

     Your's Sincerely: Waterlilly

  • I think its good that we have Inji (Westerner) lamas teaching the Buddha dharma. You put things into perspective and more enjoyable to listen and easier to learn.

  • @shefali13 more than you think
