Anand Ashram Foundation (affiliated to UN), and its wing organzations, such as Forum of Awakening Soul (FKJ), National Integration Movement (NIM), Sufi Lodge, Forum of Educators, Doctors, and Pscyhologists for Motherland (ForADokSi-BIP), Anand Krishna Global Cooperation, Anand Krishna Education Foundation, Institute of Holistic Education, California-Bali Friendship Association, and LAyurveda respond this call by conducting a series of events with theme : Contribution of Indonesian Youth for World Peace: World Peace Now! Stop Imagining. Make It Happen from Saturday, September 20th 2008 to Sunday, September 21st 2008. The events will be conducted simultaneously in several big cities in Indonesia :

Mr. Anand Krishna, founder of Anand Ashram Foundation, believes that World Peace can only be achieved if it starts from within ourselves and our family. Therefore, on Peace One Day this year, he makes an appeal of non-violence in any kinds of form by applying several practical things that we can practice in our daily life, such as Do not Yell to others, Do not fight with others, Do not hurt anybody starting from our closest person, Love ourselves, and Forgive anybody who has ever been in differences to us.
By continously practicing non-violence principles starting from ourselves in daily life, a true peace of our societies, nations, and the whole world living together in One Earth, under One Sky and One Humandkind will not only just a dream, but a reality.
