Ashton Kutcher underestimates January Jones

In the most recent issue of GQ, Mad Men star January Jones reveals that Kutcher, who she dated from 1998-2001, was not exactly the most sympathetic, reassuring boyfriend.

In Jones words, Kutcher "was not supportive of my acting. He was like, 'I don't think you're going to be good at this.'"

Flash-forward to eight years later. Jones has won critical acclaim and several awards nominations for her unnervingly authentic and profoundly sad portrayal of 1960s housewife Betty Draper on AMCs Mad Men, a show that Meryl Streeps the Emmy Awards annually.

Meanwhile, Ashton is most notable for three things:
1. Playing a happy-go-lucky stoner. Several times.
2. Marrying Demi Moore.
3. Making Justin Timberlake cry.

So, as it turns out, Ashton was about as wrong as a human being can be. The pot called the kettle a crappy actor, the pot was wrong, the pot himself is a crappy actor, its funny to think of Ashton as the pot, and now there's only one course of action left for him.

Apologize, Ashton. It's time.

@crownofthevalley - One-dimensional? Perhaps when you wrote this, you had only seen Season 1. After Seasons 2 & 3, she has to be one of those most versatile actors I've ever seen; the depth of her character is surreal. She blows my mind more than any other actor on the show (with the exception of Vincent Kartheiser, who plays Peter Campbell). Donald Draper is one-dimensional.

Ashton Kutcher is a joke and has never been in a single movie or TV show worth mentioning. Jones might be a bit one-dimensional in her acting, but she's absolutely perfect for the role of a repressed 60s housewife like Betty.

january jones is one the if not the abolutly most beautiful women i hav ever seen but her acting is complete shit but at the same time its riveting & compelling & she def grabs my attention cuz ur mad men character betty draper is fuckin twisted in the hed, january jones does a great job of playin her while displayin ZERO acting ability...u guys get wat im tryin to say haha??

Ashton came out in the 90's when Dumb and Dumber,Beavis and Butthead and anything involving Adam Sandler,Pauly Shore or Howard Stern was popular.That is why Ashton is known today not for his acting but for Twitter,Reality tv and Demi Moore
