    But if you know the song, you would know that there is a note on that "e", so even though you're right about the pronounciation when speaking french the "e" still has to be sung. Composers fault then! :o) It's always easier to blame thing on a dead guy ;o)s

    btw. the last words are "mourir toujours...

  • the "e" at the end of "puisse" is not accented, meaning it should be sung as a schwa (and would not be spoken at all), otherwise that was beautiful

  • wow your french speaking diction is awesome. But be careful with mixing it with your singing french. Not bad at all.

  • be careful not to fall into spoken french while singing--big no-no in the classical world. and watch out for the conducting with your hand...it just makes you look either nervous or unsure of the music.
