@joust671 IT was promotion for the fight go and watch the interviews where he said it was calculated and carried out, he did it infront of a press at another event where he knew it would make a splash...He worked with a "FRIEND" Freddie Roach as his trianer for that fight, as well as colleagues and friends like Brian Kelly in the business alone...and Calzaghe did beat him close fight BHop faught a bad fight but Calzaghe didnt give a rematch and you cant cmpare the careers

@jonathan2002ga Hopkins is a cheater in boxing. Tarver basicly said Scamkins in the Dawson fight took the peoples monsy and ran. He faked injury. Hopkins did this with Jones 2, and Calzaghe. Scamkins has done this many times. Not only this Hopkins is a known racist. The real dont appreciate hopkins.

Scamkins has been an oppurtunist his whole life and he saw a chance to get out of the fight early with a dq win or at worst a no-contest and he took it. Normal behaviour for B-hop. He is a con man who saw his chance and capitalized. Million $ payday for doing nothing. I guess since it was a no-contest the fans should get their money back, but we know that is not going to happen. Let the buyer beware when it comes to future "fights" with this guy. @elcondepatula The problem 'was' American fighters always see European fighters as weaker fighters and were ignorant to who was even boxin in Europe. Theres is a famous sayin that American fighters use "European boxers havent been tested untill they fight an American" obviously in recent years they have been proven wrong by getting beat by lots of European fighters. So US fighters neve even bothers with people like Callzaghe,didnt even reliase he exzistsed many of them,including Suger Ray Lenard
