  • hey how long is that guy and how long do they get to be? can you hold em out of water for a few minutes?

  • he's about 4" right now. These get up to about 11 or so inches I think. I do notice that they dont behave like normal mudskippers and are more aquatic. Also, these are very shy animals and would dart for cover rather than come to you during feeding time.

  • Where did u get that mudskipper? i relaly like him.

  • I got him from Franksaquarium also. These guys stay in the water more than the other mudskippers though. Hence why Frank named them mudslippers instead of mudskippers.

  • Do you know any other sites that you can buy mudskippers?

  • sorry but that's the only site I know of that sells them. With mudskippers, its always good to get them from a reliable source which gaurantee healthy specimens. There are a few pet stores that carry them around my area but they were always kept in poor conditions and not very healthy.

  • If you want a mudskipper you can hand feed, get an Indian mudskipper. You shouldn't really hold any soft-skined aquatic animal but if you had to, the Indian skippers are the least shy. But they only grow to about 4 inches max.
