Plot :
God of War III takes place moments after the events of God of War II, with Kratos on Gaia's back eager to destroy Olympus. As seen in the trailers, the whereabouts of the Blade of Olympus is unknown, even though Kratos had been wielding the blade at the end of God of War II. Little information has been released on the battle between the Gods and Titans, but it is suggested that will illustrate the end of Greek Mythology.[13]A game demo released at E3 2009 records Kratos battling his way through the city of Olympia, and with help from the Titan Perses, is able to paralyze and kill the god Helios. [14] A further demo shows Kratos fighting his way inside a back door into Olympus, and flies up through a vertical shaft using the Wings of Icarus. Meteors fall through the channel, and it is revealed that Perses is trying to kill Kratos in the fight, and the demo ends with Kratos embedding his chained blades in the Titan's skull, and is about to fight him.
