On Thursday, Providence Tarzana environmental services workers marched on the SEIU/SWU office in Los Angeles to demand SEIU officials let their votes be counted. Tarzana EVS workers voted Oct. 14 to join NUHW, but SEIU filed charges the day before the election to try to stop the election. The labor board refused to stop the election, but locked the votes in a safe until the charges are dismissed.
SEIU's obstruction has delayed workers from negotiating for a living wage and affordable health insurance.
man two of the ladies there arent even tarzana evs workers. Im pretty sure theres others in that crowd that arent either. hypocrites. the two ladies are Providence workers from burbank one of them had the time to go there, because she was fired for harrassing co workers into joining NUHW. and still was being represented by seiu and defended!!! nevertheless she still had the gall to talk her trash, well no election filed at providence cuz nobody liked her, nor NUHW.
