@FreeBlago1 The charge isn't just for the filler but for the Dr to do the procedure. They dont work for free! This stuff lasts about 2 years so it's worth it.

Considering a filler for nasolabial folds, and did my research. I was horrified to find that surgeons and derms are charging $700-$1200 for a 1.5ml of Radiesse when I saw wholesale prices to the medical community for $159usd!!!! I know docs need to make money and all, but seriously???

Thanks for the comment Sh2, this is a common misconception about face masks. The WHO guidelines on face and eye protection states: "Wear protective eyewear/goggles/visors/face shields to protect the mucous
membranes of the eyes when conducting procedures that are likely to generate
splashes of blood, body fluids, secretions or excretions."
As these procedures do not create splashes or aerosols it is usual for the practitioner not to wear a mask.
