    Great casting for the part....his performence even holds up today.....Great guy too and to this day is respected and missed......RIP Michael Conrad......from......Retired Deputy Sheriff....1969-1994

    Over the 7 seasons how much time was he on screen. Very little. Hardly at all in season 3 and 4. Great catchphrase but he was the 'comedy relief' of the show, along with his girlfriend Grace. HSB was better without him
