Dog training demonstration featuring Boudicca, Jack Russell terrier. I switched to play reward in this video, note initial distraction looking for food. The purpose of this demonstration and the previous videos is to call attention to why using food rewards can interfere with continued learning. It's important to switch to life rewards when your dogs is reliability responding at least 80%. Just like us, we are motivated depending on our internal needs, we should take this into consideration when training and/or even during behavior modification.
