No, I did not say or imply that Christians should obey those in authority instead of God. The Bible says to submit to them for the Lord's sake. If it comes down to obeying man or God, of course you obey God. But most times, obedience to authorities is not disobedience to God. Do you agree that we should pray for those in authority like the Bible says?

We are no longer under kings and governors. They were set in place, (like it says), for the punishment of evildoers. The anti-christ system of today are the evildoers, and only God can/will stop them.

Christians need to wake up and stop following the anti-christ system.

The very passage you speak of says that they are ministers of God for you. Who benefits if they punish evil doers? It also tells Christians to be subject to authorities, to pay taxes, etc. Nero had a rather beastly government. The Bible still says to pray for those in authority. Are you honestly saying that the verses in the Bible about beasts, etc. excuses you from obeying the verses that say to pray for those in authority?

Praying for Obama is praying for an anti-christ. God's will is being fulfilled, read Revelation. God will not change His mind, it is already written!

People need to pray only for God's will, not what they believe should or should'nt happen.

You are the type of person who needs to hear the scripture in my video. The Bible commands that prayers be made for those in authority. Jesus told his disciples to pray for what they wanted. He also taught them to pray 'let they will be done'. We are to intercede for our leaders instead of vilifying them.

Jesus wants us to desire rigtouesness and holiness. That should sound like music to our ears, it should be something we crave for. We must eat the Lord's meat and drink His blood. We must hunger for all of Him, in other words we must love Him. Sorry for all the posts, but I wanted to share this with everyone who can read it.

If we don't pray and read God's Word. If we get too wrapped up in our agendas for too long the love of Christ can fade. We can't let that happen. Pray for God's love to fill you up, pray for God's spirit to fill you up, pray that God will make you a better person each and every day and watch God change your life.

We must pray for our enemies, bless them who curse us and do good to them who hate us. Pray that God will have mercy on them and save them. If we refuse to do this then how could the love of Jesus possibly be in us, how can Jesus be in us? Love everyone and hate no one. Anyone who hates His brother does NOT have eternal life abiding in Him. Don't anyone dare try to make brother mean only fellow Christians. Hatred isn't the opposite of love, apathy is. I agree we are to pray for those in authority because it is pleasing to God. Because God wills that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. Jesus died as a ransom for all. 1 Timothy 2 says this as clear as day.

Praise God! This is so right on! For all those people who don't understand the scriptures, go back and read the scriptures he was talking about and pray about it. Ask God to reveal the truth to you. The truth is we are to honor, respect and pray for Obama. It doesn't mean we agree with his policies it just means that we pray for his salvation and for God to be glorified through him. If you don think that is possible you are acting on little faith and you are putting God in a box.
