  • i dont think this is a master interpretation, but if you are comparing with Potts... jajaja. Please, opera lovers, lets talk about opera singers.

  • @Nireo79 this is a master, this is a real dramatico tenore singing this piece, which one rarely finds these days.

  • @nyxB I think you could be forgiven the mistake - there is something about this voice that's reminiscent of Kaufmann. though I've never come across the singer till now.

  • Yeap, nice, but what about the rest of the song, he forgot the lyrics? got sick? why the choir continued without him, or him without them??? Pavarotti used to do it all along the full length of the song.

  • @JoanatNo29 Oh ok, got it. There must have been a reason why I thought it was Kauffmann... I don't remember why, though, this was 9 months ago. Anyway... all the related videos are with him.

  • @JoanatNo29 What are you talking about? I was answering to someone else's comment.

  • @nyxB Why don't you read the information given above ? "This is from Arena di Verona (1883), as Nicola Martinucci sung Callaf opposite an amazingly majestic Ghena Dimitrova". And, to my knowledge, Kaufmann has yet to perform this role.

  • @EliezerMeir1 Sono d´accordo!

  • @marqann Nobody can reach Caruso Standards! best tenor ever,.. anybody knows,.. anyways the sweet voice of Pavarotti was good singing Nessun Dorma at Microphone help,.. but wasn't ideal for large acoustic auditorium and large orchestra like those dark and powerful dramatic tenors as Caruso, Del monaco etc,.. as late romanticist Puccini intended so! Heavy voices like Clouds and Thunder.

  • @Nireo79 nobody can reach Pavarottis standards.. but I enjoy Alagna a lot..

  • @Nireo79 LP on Nessun Dorma......hands down..according to my excellent hearing..lol
