I "sometimes" wonder Ron about the little things in favorite classics..and this is certainly one among my favorites.
Little moments of brilliance like how the sax ramps in early kinda adding energy to the potentially lack luster unison vocal parts
The interplay between the bass and snare at points, mirror imaging each other in pulses. Those little timing offsets. Were they "on the fly"? Part of your arrangement?

@DeconPossessed Did I ever say that Dave Clark never wrote any songs? Is he greedy and a liar? well if you look on the net and read interviews he gives he not only says he wrote 'Because', he now says it's the best song he ever wrote, and he did not write one single word or note of it!! Yes I agreed for him to put his name on my songs, but he promised me 50% of the songs royalties, also 50% of the record royalties then when back on his word. Mind my own business! it is MY BUSINESS,not YOURS !!

But now your *your* fans are going around leaving comments that Dave Clark never wrote one word of music or lyric on ANY DaVE Clark Five song, and painting Clark as greedy and as a liar for having his name as author on the songs you wrote... and they do not bother to mention that you had agreed to let Clark receive credit for writing these songs for which you were financially compensated. Stop painting Dave Clark as a villain and mind ur own f__kin business.
