I like both of these families. However, I think it's clear that being on tv had some very negative effects on the Gosselin family, and I worry about how it will effect the Duggers. As much as I enjoy watching the shows I really do think that too much publicity would be harmful to any family.

@bowIegdwombat They're not in their face all the time. You only see them that way, because, well...they're on tv sometimes. I've heard the Duggars say that they spend less time making a tv show than most people's kids do watching tv in a week. I love it.

I can't speak about the Gosselins as I've never seen that show, though it seems the dad, not the mom, is the one who wanted to glam it up so much that he left his family. Ish.

tahts true you can see the duggars are completely wante and cherished and love thier family and parens, although i dnt share their values i can see the kids are being brought up to be at least respectful of others and polite...the gosselins sorry but no the parents dont even respect each other.
