@WARTORIOUS How many times have you been to the states? I agree with you on one point that you made. The U.S. puts way to many non violent offenders in jail. (ie: drug war) I live way bellow the poverty line and I don't go without food in my belly or a roof over my head. I know its strange but the U.S. does have social programs and my neighbors look out for one another. (don't believe everything you see on T.V.) This country is far from perfect but I think you have a skewed vision of it.

The NHS in the UK is amazing and I thank my lucky stars I was not born in America with its extreme widespread poverty and its ridicules extreme rich. The UK looks after its people; The USA throws more of its own people in prison than anywhere else in the world into its slave labor prisons. The US state schools are often poor, If America adopted a more socialist approach like the UK poverty and injustice would shrink.

@starVol Daniel Hannan isn’t a proper political figure, he’s a MEP and that means they are failed national political party member, MEPs are also bought off like the American politicians - I might be a Tory supporter but I believe in keeping our NHS, it’s our right as is the right to vote, access to an education & access to a state pension. Daniel Hannan is on the EU gravy train, with the other slimy scum of Europe's MEP - He isn't a True Tory but a republican

Look, He warned us against Government run healthcare. He has seen how more and more government programs and controls have hurt the UK. He has warned us many many times. Too bad everyone was friggin hy-mo-Tized. Ise been HYP-MO -Tised when he warned us the first time. Yet, the warnings fell on deaf ears with Rinos (Olympia Snow, who could have ended this helathcare with her vote) and with DemoRATS who sold us down the river! America DOES NOT have Capitalism - it has Corporatism. Govts and Corporations are in bed with each other to secure their own futures against the Free Market where most would fail immediately, i.e. Banks. Corporatism is causing all the problems & Capitalism is getting the blame. 'Capital' comes from Savings not Debt. Insurance Company domination of Healthcare is the problem in USA. Why cant any individual pay their tax straight into their local hospital, or even schools & then call the shots?
