I attempt to make a wireless buzzer system for a live local trivia night. This is the hardware component for a software based game I created earlier in the year. It will allow teams to play by placing a buzzer at each table.

  • Can you give me an idea for ummn.. A wireless switch (Not very Big like in the video) which when pressed will give an sound from the buzzer. It's actually an science project and have to DIY, so please help me...

  • @619buyaka1 I'm not sure how far to go with this... What is your school level? You can go about doing a wireless buzzer a number of different ways. You can go the arduino/XBee route. You can hack a small remote control car and wire the drive assembly up to a buzzer instead of a motor. You can go the Bluetooth route and use the smirf chipset. I'm not sure exactly how much of a DIY you would need. Do you need to print your own circuit board, or just do a little circuit-bending?

  • @shadeydave See i want the easiest way possible and i am doing this for my small brother in 9th Std. CBSE in India. The idea is that the device is attached to an object which is lost everytime in the house and when we press the button the device should start beeping. See he has to submit the thing before 18 February IST(Indian Standard Time) and thank you in advance.

  • @TheSiddu1234 The best and easiest solution is a one to one relay setup, like a wireless doorbell. You can find local wireless doorbells in India for about 250 INR. The cheaper the better. Just tear the guts out of it and put them into whatever you keep losing. The process should only take a few hours. Good luck! Just search google for 'wireless doorbell india', I'm sure you will find something cheap.
