Would this be available on VHS???

That is, like, the sexiest intro sequence in the history of television.

A darn good show with great feel for its era. Too bad that NBC pulled the plug after a half season.

@ronarmjr ---I may be wrong, but didn't NBC tell them to ditch Michael Wood, as they did not like him, or the show would be cancelled. They said that they would stick with Michael and so NBC dropped the show.

@telgamist : This song is from the double Episode "Blue Hotel". It has a couple of Chris Isaak songs in it and this one you mean is from a singer named TIM SCOTT. But I don´t know the name of that song.

I love this show and once it comes DVD/Blueray I'll buy it instantly! I remember an episode they were investigating a case of a dead musician... there was a song of that musician played at the end of the episode, I remember the guy played by Josh Brolin was dancing with the murdered, and the song was playing. Now, I can't find that tune anywhere but I remember it was a cool song!
dident the guy who created this go on to do miami vice?

More or less. Anthony Yerkovich and Michael Mann co-produced this, but it was in the middle of Miami Vice's original run (1984-1989). IMDb says Yerkovich also wrote Private Eye eps, so it was probably more his baby than Mann's. Yerkovich created Miami Vice but Michael Mann took over after 6 episodes.

Excellent quality. Didn't Joe Jackson compose the theme?
