One of my favourite street foods: a combo of plum sauce and chilli with the soft and crunchy! I was just saying to my wife that street jianbing sellers were becomming hard to find, replaced by (lesser) supermarket makers. Then I went to find my old guy to find he too had disappeared. When I found this Shandong lady I made sure I got a film of this delightful snack

  • @fernandesfran

I went to China and there was only 1 or 2 restaurants that served dog. Haven't seen a single of either one in Shanghai, and I never saw a cat restaurant at all.

I did see a bunch of insects, but then again, it was in the street food area.

  • This stuff is ok, but not that great. What should really fill your stomach, just one egg and an oily bread?

  • @millerprebecca it's like a cracker

  • @SmallShark it's called Hoi Sin Sauce. it's sweet & it's good on any meat.****

  • What is that big thing she throws on at the end, right before she wraps it up?

  • there is no plum sauce, you asked her what sauce that was. she answered "sweet flour sauce" which is super popular in northern China. you also eat Peking duck with that sauce

  • Is that really heat resistance bag ??

  • I've eaten this in Guiyang, China. That version also had a potato filling, just like the Indian Dosa, excepting the egg. Also, the vegetable filing was more spicier, as the Southern Chinese food tends to be very spicy.

I'm of Indian origin. Most Indians think that the Chinese eat dogs, cats or insects most of the time. Hope they can see from such videos that this is not at all true.

  • look like thosai....hehehe

  • i remember being scared about trying this until one day i did BEST DECISION IN MY LIFE
