  • This is probably Elton's crappiest project. I know he regretted getting involved with it.

  • @castletriglav What do you mean 'you know' that he regretted it, where did you get that infomation from? I dont know how you can catigorise this project as crap the music is underrated and most people love it.

  • I was 16 when I experienced this film with my first "True Love". She and I both thought it was absolutely wonderful - the story, mood, cinematography, great performances by the two leads, and of course, the amazing musical score. We talked about it for days afterward. I hoped to see it again one day, but (alas) it was not to be...

Thank you so much for posting this album, MattyWestie, and bringing back memories from such a joyous time to be alive!

  • @billyjoeboomboom The pleasure is all mine :)

  • i still have the lp ...a prized possession

  • @castletriglav I totally disagree, this is, in my opinion, the greatest Elton collection of all time. I love each and every track. Especially,. Friends, Seasons and Michelles Song.

  • One of maybe a dozen pieces of music from my past that takes me right back to a certain place.

  • Elton John's "Friends" came from this project, my all time favorite Elton John song!

  • BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TO A SUPERB MOVIE WHICH MEANS SO MUCH FOR MANY OF US FROM THOSE EARLY 70'S. LOVE....LOVE...LOVE!

  • @lschmoopie you can get it on ebay. it will be a dvd recorded from a vhs movie. i have one and it plays like a new dvd. good luck

  • Actually - notwithstanding the dialogue - the music is great.. I remember listening to it in the Seventies. But it was the whole side of an album, not just this short beginning. The rest of it was entirely classical music, brilliantly done.
