The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum runs a monthly train from Campo, CA to Tecate, Mexico. Here is some footage from just the town itself. A good day out if you are anywhere nearby.

Filmed on the Aiptek GVS HD at 720p(60fps) as always.

  • you wnet there in 2009, and you werent scared? we went there in 2002.

  • @briantravelman I was a little concerned but Tecate was seldom, if ever, mentioned as being a place of violence. Tijuana on the other hand, no way I'm going there. Sadly the train doesn't run right now, a tunnel collapsed.

  • Maybe an Aiptek GVS user can tell me why the panning is so choppy - I don't see this problem on other videos, or on the train one I took same day.

  • I was just here 5 days ago and in Tijuana 6 days ago. Spent a week in Tecate with a lot of other white americanos, in no way did i feel threatened. Beautiful city, wonderful people. The impoverished peoples on the streets of Tecate showed more hospitality than most Americans who have so much more. I have true respect for them

  • @ukpylot

oh. i only remember one tunnel, and that was the one at the border
