Frankie, I'm not doing your style of "full out sparkle" drag. Not everybody wants to be RuPaul (and not everybody wants to see RuPaul either).

Thanks for the well-intentioned advice, but you'll find that drag does not just mean "tights and fab wig."

Aww, thanks Frankie! It's truly a great world when we can all share compliments and criticism and (hopefully) become better at what we do! And in the end we're all doing our own thing (and pleasing our own fans), and I like that. :)

And maybe someday I'll be inspired to REALLY sparkle!

@Muffysb like hell. drag is over the top. yes you look nice in drag. very simple, but your actions and gestures should have been bigger and more campy. even ru paul doesn't exaggerate the drag look as does many classic drag queens from yester years do. but Ru like every drag queen performer goes above and beyond. It's campy theatre. I like your ideas keep going but please make it just a little bit bigger and broader.

@albertoALVEREZ My drag days are over, so I can no longer take your advice! I do agree that drag (and performance itself, particularly on a stage) is usually about a broad presence, but while I loved the camp, the over-the-top aspect was never what I was going for...more understated, silly humour. Whether I achieved that is open for debate, of course, but many found what I did to be refreshing and entertaining. There's a niche for everyone, heck yeah!
