yeah derek grant can do some crazy things you wouldn't expect a punk drummer to do. this weird tendency to create a crazy cluster fuck of sound. you've played his part pretty well though, hats off, sir.

One-handed 16ths. I've seen them a bunch of times and he susses them out.

He doesn't play straight 16ths through the verses though, he breaks them up between the open-hat

This is my favorite Trio song, and really cool drumming too!!! But I know for sure Derek's playing 16th notes on the hi-hat during the verses. They have not once played this song from all the times I've seen them, and I'd love to know if he forces a really fast right hand or adds the left hand to the hi-hat. I love playing to this song with both hands on hi-hat, but you gotta watch out for coordinating the kick correctly with all that mess.

Back To Hell is'nt an easy song so, well done.

I'm a drummer to, and now i'm working on Burn, wich isn't an easy song to from the Trio so.

its just the camera,notice his bass drum is backwards? the holes are to be closer tothe back, who cares though
