I like Ovechkins game, when he plays cleanly. When he does these kinds of things, I usually wish Matt Cooke would sharpen his elbow pads.

In fact, these hits don't belong to this game and those who still do it should have to go trough the same process as the guy they have injured. All the pain and pills and recovery and press conferences on your health and the difficulties to adjust to the game speed and so forth.

But no; they just keep running around doing this shit over and over again.

The gonchar hit wasnt even Ovi's fault. Ovi isnt an overly dirty player, but when you hit probably close to 10 people a game, your bound to have one or two that dont turn out so great. Doesnt make you a dirty player.

It's funny how you had to search in so many places to find "dirty plays" first one yes late hit with unfortunate result..the one on heard he shouldn't have turned Ov was finishing his check..the gonchar one he led with his shoulder! I don't see how you can call that dirty. Dustin brown needs to learn how to be a man and battle in front of the net. Wideman I thought was a good hip check and he never hit the unknown... He was straight up and the guy had his head really low.
