I'm 57, so Bobby's music was just a bit before I became musically aware (a child of the British Invasion...still am), but if this video was shot in 2009....this guy is phenomenol. I only heard "The Cha Cha Cha" as an adult just the other day, and it knocked me out. Bobby's still got it, no doubt. A polished performer still doin' his thing all these years later and still sounding and looking good is a gift from above indeed. I wish this guy the very best. You still got it. joel in tucson

@MrAjlombardo Because he NEVER did or does use that Bullshit Autotune. And this music is real and handmade. Not from computers that make it sound like freaking robot sounds... This right here is a true classic!

Glad you got to see him! I saw him at a Rock and Roll show in New York many years ago. Loved those shows. You'd get to see about 10 top acts in one show. . The good old days! I believe Murray the K was the emcee! 1010 WINS N.Y was his radio station.

@MrTolentine He does a lot of touring and performing. He actually performed around the corner from my house at the Italian festival last summer. When I was 10 years old and crazy about him, I never dreamed that some day I'd walk out my front door, walk a block for about 1 1/2 minutes and watch him perform and go home and have sweet dreams. And his voice and performance is as good as ever.

Just Great Bobby!

There's a Facebook Fan Page devoted to Cameo/Parkway and features Bobby Rydell often (even this clip is on it).

There is really no words to explain what a GREAT Singer, Mr Rydell was/is, his voice is still fantastic and he still gives 100 plus when he performs, he still brings back the old days when music was music, and singers were singers, keep up the good work Mr Bobby Rydell.

GREAT VOICE.

Robert Ridarelli - AKA Bobby Rydell. By far the BEST of the Philly 50's/60's clan. If he would have started performing in the 40's, he would have been as big as Frank. I think Bobby could have used a better manager back then, because he was and IS phenominal. Sounds just as good in 2009 as he did in 1961.
