Stora Upload Walkthrough Video

is it possible to copy things from a device without the software from netgear?

For example from a SAT Reciever?

@goetzengasse Not from a SAT receiver unless it integrates into your computer network and is visible from other devices. You dont need software to copy from any other device but it needs to support the right protocols. Sat recievers and DVR's dont because they dont want the TV programs ripped off and redistributed.

Hi mate

How easy it is to connect one of these to a TV.

I want to be able to view pictures from the TV but more importantly I want to watch movies downloaded via the stora.

@internationalhardman Stora doesn't connect directly to your TV. It connects to your home network. If you have an XBox360, PS3 or media player connected to the same network, you could play your stuff stored on Stora through one of those.

can you also copy stuff from the finder from MAC or exployer under windows??

@zemmik sure can but you would need to map the drive in Windows first. You can do this manually or the Stora Applications that come with the unit do it automatically for you if you install the software.

@peterairs My Sony BluRay player accesses my Stora brilliantly. The only hang up is older DRM iTunes music will not play through the Sony.
