for anyone having a hard time finding the number...I couldn't find the number but noticed there was a number and some letters on a file so I clicked on it and looked at the "date created" and noticed it was the same date and time my computer got infected so I knew that was the file to rename! it worked like a charm!!

Ahaha, my dad got this today and he almost downloaded the update that it tells you to download so you can get rid of the infections.

i had the same problem but i found a different way t fix it
Okay so what you need to do is press the power button on the computer. when your turning it back on BE SURE to run it in safe mode. then go to the start menu> control panel > system & security > backup & restore, then click "recover system settings or your computer" and hit the button that says "open system restore". make sure you select a date that is BEFORE the time that you installed the virus, and then when you restore, its fixed

@ZacharyHere you can do it that way but if they have system restore turned off (like me) then they cant go back. some usually turn it off because system restore uses alot of space.

@xXTryanTXx if your using vista or windows 7, go the the little star orb thing at the bottom left (start) then type in msconfig and press enter. If you have xp just go to run and type msconfig there.
