- Flight unwitnessed (probably, the flight didn't happened).
- Invention undocumented.
- Took off with the aid of catapult (not by its own ways).
- Model not adopted by posterity.

Dumont was a genius. It was too much for him to see his invention been used to drop bombs over children. he took his life to be free of a unimaginable pain.

The american brothers were searching for "patents", say, money. Do not forget the time they incorporated many things from others (Dumont, Voisin, Blériot) in their third plane, this one was totaly surclassed by Demoiselle. Only AFTER 1939, during a campaign to stir patriotism among americans, the USA accepted they as "the inventors".
