I think he's happy to sing this, Bejayful. Like you, I LOVE the way he sings it. Just can't listen to Mariah sing it. It's insipid the way she sings it, but it's very powerful when he sings it (but that's the difference between pop & rock). I don't think I've ever heard him sing anything that I didn't like his cover better than the original. I'm glad he went to Manila & I hope he goes to England, Brazil, & Canada because he has lots of fans those places, too.

Actually if anything I think it has to do with the band (i.e. music director Neal) not necessarily being into the song so much. Did you catch the look over to Neal at the beginning? Also, I think David was concentrating on his vocals since this isn't a song he has sung during the tour. Just like with LO and Come Back to Me, etc. he works out the live vocals as he goes for a bit. He sang it on AI, his homecoming, Manila tv & the Manila concert before this. Still relatively new,

Actually bejayful, I think he sang it like he did on Idol when his brother Adam was in the audience and I think singing this song makes him think of Adam. Remember on Idol he teared up after he sang it. Just my thoughts on it anyways.

he seem not happy singing this song, i wonder? You have to understand that we love this song because you sang it beautifully for us not mariah, we have a good memories with this song that is so you, DC. WE love you.. thanks for sharing the video.
