Another of my 45rpm classics. Authentic warped, scratchy, phonograph sound. Enjoy.

  • Tommy Roe is a very under appreciated artist from the 60s and 70s. He released some of the best pop records of that era.

  • The song is good, but really, what is most impressive is that you videotaped your stereo playing a 45. Utterly cool.

Under appreciated by whom? Who are they? I wanna know. :-)

  • I wish you would flip to the B-Side of this single: "Tip Toe Tina" ("Tell me if you've seen 'er...")

    Could you pleeeeaaase????

  • 'matchstick men' seems to have been inspired by this...and LSD

  • dizzy again..poor song choice

  • We lived on the beach, our house was and

still is on the beach. Winter storms used to toss logs over the sea wall and onto our

front yard. We used an outdoor extension cord for the record player and radio. Thanks for asking.

  • It's been a while since you posted this comment. You mentioned using the old record player on the beach...where did you plug it in? Was it battery powered?

  • Similar melody to Dizzy.

  • Us kids used to play this flip side all the time during the Summer of '70 on the beach, wow what a flashback ! We had this old RCA 45 player our neighbor Ethel gave us, you know the small square brown player from the 50's with a permanent tube built into the middle to load your 45's? I think they used to throw them in free when you bought a new RCA TV back in the '50's. What a treat hearing this song after almost 40 years !

  • How amazing to find somebody out there with the first record I ever bought!

    Treacher's...Van., B.C. Canada.
