The Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne Symphonic Wind Ensemble performs Percy Grainger's "The Gum Sucker's March". Prof. Chad Nicholson directs the ensemble in a concert given in Auer Concert Hall on the IPFW campus on March 3, 2011. Audio was recorded by the IPFW Music Technology Program with video by College Access TV.

  • I agree that it was a very good performance individually, but some spots there were deviation between the different players which didn't sound too great, but there were some really really good things going on there overall.

  • Ok, you won. That was the BEST recording of that I've ever heard.... Your pianist was freaking incredible!  I wish I could have muted the band just to listen to her!!! Your french horns? I think I had a small ear orgasm.... The clarinet solo? Unneglected and awesome! This one's going on my favorites for sure!
