The negative comments below only show ignorance at its worst! Tim is a great soloist and one heck of a nice guy to boot. And calling Al V. a "classical" player is pure ignorance... study up on the fellow -

To all who have "commented" below... please be sure to tell us where you'll be performing soon - as hearing better players would be a real treat...

Still love watching this video knowing I saw it live. =D

It's quite amusing to see people arguing over jazz vs classic.
I see that as asking whether Issac Newton is greater than Pablo Picasso

Those of you talking shit about my uncle Tim can burn in hell and just TRY to play like he does. I know, he practices at my house whenever he comes over and I try going to concerts when I don't mind headaches. The man is LOUD and freaking amazing.

most everyone does...

i just cant put this song away, so intricate chords, and catchy melody
-
are you saying vizzutti doesnt play jazz?
-
I saw Vizzutti play this live with a nearby college jazz group just recently, and the song really gets no justice unless it's heard live. I'm not very wise to Cates average playing style, but the range they both reach is amazing. :)

well youre right.....well said....and now .......what about my ears.......are bleding
I think when people are talking about classical players playing jazz, they just have different musical tastes. When
i think about trumpet solos on a night in tunisia, I generally think of players like Cladio Roditi. (If you don't know whom I'm talking about, look him up immediately on youtube). I personally don't care for Allen's solo too much, but I totally admire on every other aspect of his playing.
