Great biopic!! Sam Riley as Ian Curtis is a very good choice! He did a great job. Joe Anderson who played Hooky in Control is my favourite choice to play the lead role in the upcoming Kurt Cobain biopic. And Toby Kebbell to play Dave Grohl. sam riley was like a man possessed, he totally inhabited the role and soul of ian curtis, what a truely unique and exceptional perfomance and film, an amazing tribute to a legend, and a fitting one too.

He actually danced like that before he was diagnosed with epilepsy. It had nothing to do with his condition, but it was ironic.

wasn't the singer an epileptic & thats why he danced funny but the fans thought it was so cool.

Parlourcr...I understand being protective of Ian - this obviously is a fictualized account. BUT, for a fictualized account, the main actor did an amazing job at portraying Ian. In fact, all the actors did of their respective parts; the movie was well type-cast.
We could all say overly dramatic things, but you've got to give credit where it's due. Sam Reilly did a great job.
