Krump is an acronym for Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise. It is an aggressive, and spiritual form of inner-city dance with Christian roots. Much like breakdancing was a benchmark of inner city culture in the '80s, a dance movement called krumping is creating its own subculture among teens in Los Angeles neighborhoods such as Compton, South Central, and Watts. With it's Christian focus, krump dancing has become a way to reach out to inner-city youth and gangs with the message of the Cross and the Gospel of Jesus Christ! This Krump video was taken on the streets of Skid Row. These young soldiers take their dancing to one of the worst and most dangerous streets in America. After the dance the message of Christ was preached loud and clear through song and spoken word!
