31105 and 31285 pass Coundon Road, late at night on 1Z06, Network Rail's structure gauging train.

Sorry for the loss of focus about halfway through, forgot to switch the manual focus on.

  • Also at the 0:23 mark if you pause the video, you can see the white gauging light bouncing off the second row off houses.

  • Structure Gauging - Is where a light is used to measure and see how far infrastructure, buildings etc. is from the track. At the 0:27/8 mark you can just see a small flash of light off the relay room.
