Man, I got the Speed Mechanic book and half way through, my life has changed for good. TS is the best teacher, hands down. I feel like I own him a cheque for all the teaching, maybe someday I'll hand over to him personally :-)

wow, thank you for posting this great in depth interview. Someone like Troy who speaks about personal achievements as well as 'failure' and goals, can teach a lot to us. I think that troy had amazing music insight , but then his style changed. I am not criticizing that,but on the metal books he really had a very personal ,gigantic tone, and he wasn't so influenced by 'shred' players. His phrases showed amazing structure. Man I am a sucker for his old stuff, he should go back to his real tone
