Ran from the Camp 10 landing many times with clients to the Hat Rapid Dam and then did a float down. Good smallmouth and muskie action.

Be careful in those rapids! Once, I cruised up, and then drifted down, the Whirlpool Rapids, located between Tomahawk and Rhinelander (or about a mile or so downstream of the Hat Rapids Dam), and ended up cracking the bow of the boat open on the rocks! Thank goodness it was only a rental boat, otherwise my parents would have been furious! I ended up with about a couple inches of water in the bow, plus a pretty dinged up propeller.
