The police never had a right to lay a hand on the guy unless he refused to leave. The mic was cut, Kerry wanted to answer the question, and the police moved in grabbing the guy in order to arrest him. They never approached him and asked him to leave. Every political figure has had to deal with a heckler in the crowd, and Kerry had the situation under control.

@sociomike They asked him to leave first and he didn't. The SCHOOL asked him to leave. Not the police. Just like a bouncer throwing you out of a club for being disorderly. They can throw you out and they aren't even police. The university wanted him removed and the cops asked him to. He wouldn't so they tased him and he deserved it.
