  • Professor Levinson's course looks really interesting, and I greatly admire his analysis and opinions on this subject. Thanks for sharing this lecture!

  • You're very welcome!

  • Even though I already knew all they material you presented, I found it informative. I cant help to think that there was something missing and it was a bit drawn out, although overall it was a good lecture and I rather go to that than any of my other lectures. I appreciate a professional documenting the misreporting. Thank you.

  • Thanks. There was indeed a lot missing - the class was only 50 minutes, and, as I indicated, I only I had time for a few examples.

It's a sad commentary, though, that my lecture covered just a sample, rather than the whole roster, of misreporting.

  • You don't believe in conspiracy theories regarding the media and the press manipulating the information to favor some candidate or some other nefarious motive. You speak in terms of ABC, FOX, CNN, etc., without mentioning who owns these media outlets. Don't you think this information is important in any conversation about the media?

  • One thought -- You are right; the media ARE human - but you forgot that they have political opinions and agendas just like the rest of us. BOTH (neo-con)Republicans and Democrats would stand to lose with a Ron Paul victory. -- Thus Hannity and Colmes both do not want him to win. Ron Paul had no one in his corner to defend him.

  • secondly, calling ALL 9/11 truthers 'nutjobs' disinfranchises those seeking simply: Truth. it is no different then the media skewing the story instead of giving legitimate credance to the individual.

i understand there is now a coalition of professors and educators invoking experts in the field of chemistry and physics who discredit the official 9/11 commision report. will you insult your fellow educators for dissenting, as well?

  • I appreciate your attention to the mainstream media's failures. but, although there are many negative connotations with the word conspiracy, there does appear to be a conspiracy to keep the whole, objective truths about the war, the president and this election from the public, by the media-or let's say, there owners.

  • That is not in question. We all saw what we saw. What we question is the science behind it. There are people much smarter than I and I'm willing to bet smarter than you too, experts in their fields, who have said that certain aspects of the official conspiracy theory are impossible. Did the government do it. Thats a leap i'm not willing to take, but i do have valid questions that should be addressed.

  • How about the footage of big chunks of building fall off?

  • As usual, you haven't made an argument against the facts 9/11 truthers are presenting or the theories.

  • Why do you take offense? 9/11 Truthers are nutjobs. Please don't look up my personal info, you'll only strengthen my argument.

  • awesome class
