  • Excellent playing Jason. I don't know too many Baptist churches other than Broadway that have that style of sanctuary. The acoustics are really good for organ. Does Dr. Travis still play there? Best Wishes from Louisiana.

  • @wpbc1945 Dr. Travis is the organist at Broadway. It is an amazing church with a fantastic organ!

  • This sounds awesome! You are really good. How long have you played?

  • Maybe it's "Anglo-Baptist" :)

  • You should do a solo organ CD here

  • Very nicely done! Too bad the recorded sound doesn't do you or the instrument justice. Your talent shines through anyway. BRAVO! Keep them coming!

  • @Chesterbarnes1 Actually, she played a concert on this organ about 10 years ago. When she played Buck's Variations on the Star Spangled Banner, it was unbelievable. John Scott, Frederick Swann, Joyce Jones, David Higgs, Todd Wilson, and Thomas Murray, among others, have all done concerts at Broadway. Come hear it in person some day. It truly is awesome!

  • I would love to see and hear Diane Bish play this instrument. She would bring out ALL of its qualities and use every resource this great ORGAN has. She would MASTER this organ and have it singing all over TEXAS!

  • Wonderful Jason! More of this!!!

  • @goodchappy Actually, our sanctuary can hold 1200 people! When the church is empty, there is about 5 seconds of reverberation. It is a truly beautiful and resonant place! If you ever are in Fort Worth, you should visit us. Not only is the music spectacular, but the preaching is awesome as well.

  • Well played, that is a huge organ for the size of church!

  • Sunday services at Broadway are truly inspirational. I am not a Baptist, but the music and preaching are always great when I do go.
