On March 6 2001, Michael Jackson spoke to students at Oxford University, to promote his new initiative; Heal the Kids.

Develpoed by Heal the World Foundation, Heal The Kids was launched in year 2000.

Heal The Kids was set up to develop a campaign to help parents and adults around the world to educate them on the importance of reprioritizing their lives in order to bring children into the main focus in order to imbue them with the love and devotion which they so badly need and to stop the cycle of neglect. Give all at risk children more support and consideration from all sectors of society.

I remember someone saying during an interview after Michael Jackson delivered this speech. He said "... they (the media) don't care what Michael Jackson says, they only care about what he looks like when he's saying it." Ain't that the truth...

it's a shame that these videos of this speech have such few views while photoshopped videos of Michael Jacksons nose "falling off" have triple or even more the views this has.Shows how people love sensationalism and really don't care about whats really true.Whats true about Michael Jackson is this and nothing else.

why didn't this amazing speech get the same attention that " the baby dangling" got! People still judge him because of it and look at the larger more important things he was doing.

Are there any other Michael Jackson speeches like this? I found out about this one from the Michael Jackson Fan Club website. If there are more speeches by him like this out there, we need to get them out to the public. I had no idea what a wonderful man he was.
