A spiritual rendevous leads to some shocked disciples and sandy chicken. Follow Jesus as he gets fed the spiritual way. (Characters recite the bible but also add contextual commentary.) Want to know more about Christianity? Visit my page at: http://www.examiner.com/christian-apologetics-in-national/victoria-priest . A further note should be made about the content of the video. The Samaritans did not believe in the prophets of Israel, thinking that Moses was the last prophet and that the coming Messiah (their Taheb) would be the next prophet. So the woman's comment about prophets was in regard to Israel, and, her thinking that Jesus was a prophet leads logically to her wondering if he was the Taheb.
I'm so tired of reading and hearing male commentary on this woman. Was she such a sinner (we all are, yes), or was it because her men had been? Since she was alone (no kids with her) yet had so many husbands, it is likely that she was barren. Worthless in men's eyes, kicked out, with no means of support. Shamed at being barren, and shamed at her circumstances, she needed a savior. And her savior didn't let her down - even made her a female evangelist!
