  • @donkzilla1 It is the anterior tibiofibular ligament which is a syndesmosis, similar to the interosseous membrane. There is a posterior tibiofibular ligament as well. All of these tissues are involved in what one would classify as a "high ankle sprain".

  • @cncgymnast95 the peronrus longus . :)

  • What was the first thing you pointed out? It connected to the big toe?

  • @josh32jacobs think he just meant anterior talofibular ligament

  • there is no anterior talofibular joint, you were referring to the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis fyi, helpful video overall though.

  • Thanks, you just diagnosed my foot injury. Lol

  • Are you confusing tendons and ligaments? Not clear at times.

  • I have the same thing. I had a motorcycle crash about five days ago and I tore ligaments in me left foot. now they perfectly look just like your foot with the trapped blood. u just gave me hope by saying its a good sign. after two hours ill go to the doc to do some check-ups

thank you for the vid :)

    cheers from Saudi Arabia :D

  • if you tear a ligiment does it always swell or can the tissue in your ancle/foot swell and remain the normal color?
