    (I am going to send his parents the bill for all the tissues I have used listening to their son's speech.)

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. As a mother of an autistic child, I realize the hardships that many families have gone through. I especially like what Eric said about limitations not defining people. That is so right. Again, thanks.

  • thank you so much for this video. this gave me a lot of hope for my son. i can't stop crying and thank God for this video. my husband said: "don't look at our son for what he is but for what he can be" Look at him with faith that he can do great things. You, Eric, had made that possible for me. Thank you, Eric, Than you to your mom and dad.

  • I am also autistic, did not speak until 4, and now I can easily pass as mild aspergers. However, high academics never was my thing, I just got straight Bs. I am still going to a decently ranked college and studying in environmental science (since it is my specialty).
