**Better description coming later tonight!**

TRAIN NUMBERS (Corresponding with clips)
221: 8944, 8568, 5969
114: 8528, 9780, 9835 (134 cars)
115: 9833, 8736, 9771 (95 cars)
111: 8939, 8626, 8557 (125 cars/474 axles) RULE 103-G CANCELLED
------NOTE: 8557 was not supplying air to the remainder of the train.
697: 8905, 8957 (empty tank train Albany, NY - Flaxton, ND)
301: 8767, 6250 (empty grain train with an SD60 engine)
118: 9523, CEFX 1049 (met 3 trains, went on to meet 3 more trains)

*** The 103-G was put in place at the crossing at mile 46.99 due to it "activating 2 seconds before the train arrived" according to the lady who called it in. The CP Foreman DID have to make a minor adjustment to the crossing sensor he told RTC.

This is the MOST activity I've seen on this rail sub ever, 12 trains in less than 8 hours (I had to go so I couldn't catch 119, 222, or 112, or the HONDA switcher).

  • Also a few days ago 221-17 had SOO, ICE and NREX. Same power returned as 220-19

  • @ttcsubway209 nice!!! Recently, CP has given 220 and 221 the new CP GE engines, whereas they usually have the CP 6000 series, SOO, CITX, ICE, etc!

  • @rolls283 It's pretty rare to have the CITX/CEFX/ICE up here. CP usually sends them down to the states because they can lead down there whereas up here they can only be used as "B" units. SOO is more common, because they can lead. You'll mostly find the newer gevos on 100 series trains because the idea is to have most of the gevo's out west to help out with coal trains/grain trains that have mid train power.

  • @ttcsubway209 ive never caught an ICE but have caught a few CEFXs as 'B' units, and a few in the lead. Only ever caught 1 CITX as a mid train power on 221 a long time ago.

And I figure since CP has a tonne of the new GEVOs, that is why I\ve caught so many

  • great action ! nice catches !

  • Amazing catch. Do you know if CP Blows the Horn at Kirby Rd. or Cold Creek Rd. Crossings just south of Bolton between Miles 18 -20? I know they don't blow at Major MacKenzie Dr., Nashville Rd. or Huntington Rd. or at any of the crossings in the town of Bolton or in the GTA City limits.

  • Oh and 6250 is an SD60. Just recently repainted from SOO :)

  • 697 is not a re-route train. It's a regular MacTier train that runs as ordered. Goes to the Bakken Deposit in North Dakota!

  • The holiday backlog has begun to flow! LOL
