  • can you remove that pick guard?

  • @toolfan5566 Three small screws, one small cross head screwdriver, and it's off.

  • i am wanting to learn guitar and guitar center has a sale so i could get this for 400 instead of 500. would this be a good beginer guitar and one to grow on. While i do not wish to get something extravigant as this for a first guitar i love the look of it. the f holes rock they remind me of the violin back when i used to take lessons on it and i love the look compaired to a traditional guitar. would this be a good one to learn on do you think.

  • @dp665 It sounds like this archtop inspires you. It's better playing an instrument you love than fighting one you hate. I find the neck really comfortable, and the low action makes it easier on my fingertips.

Go for it! Learn to make this guitar hum and growl and sing. I look forward to your videos. -– Tom

  • Hey, those dots are actually mother of pearl, even the ones on the tip of the neck

  • @RichardVanWagner I should have just said "no fancy inlays" – that's the operative word I was trying to get across. Thanks for watching.

    Customer Reviews:

I purchased the Godin KingPin II recently and could not be more blown away...the Guitar is beautiful, very playable and a great value!! I have a 1943 Epiphone Blackstone that I was considering converting with a floating P-90 with a volume and tone in a new pick guard. By the time I was to add new machine heads, nut and possible ...

  • Got to play this at the local shop today. I've been playing guitar for almost 10 years, and this sounds absolutely amazing, especially for the price.

  • Good job on this review.

  • I love your demo!

  • Don't belittle the ukulele you prick.

  • I'm so in love with this guitar (L). I'm looking for an acoustic archtop and this looks really good, so do you recommend it? How much did it cost to you?

  • I don't know why I did but I laughed really hard at 1:17 when you just switched to talking about the head stalk of the guitar. It was probebly how you just jumped form one to the other like that :P Good review man!

  • @dp665 I'm not sure if you have bought a guitar yet, but yes this guitar is absolutely good enough for a beginner and even pro guitarists can get a killer sound from this one.
