I wasn't optimistic when I stumbled upon your video but decided to watch it anyway, just because I love that tune by John J. Wow, was I surprised. Your guitar work is spot on. You got some talent there, young man. I'm happy you are sharing it with the world.

Danny must tell you that John would indeed be proud of the really fine job you do on his song. I heard him play it live so often I got spoiled - great job...

You make your mama proud guitardan! It's not often that a song can be covered and sound as good as the original. I love John Jackson's version of this song, but your version is right up there with him.......including your singing. Do you have any CD's on the shelf? Rock on.....(From a 70 year-old grandma who loves de blues.)
@trishmcginn Thanks Bill.... I really wish I could have seen John play this live... must have been amazing! Thanks so much for your compliment.. much appreciated! I got a septic thumb trying to learn this one... but I loved those bass runs so much I couldn't stop.

Hi Jesse...I learned it from the John Jackson 1984 video here on youtube.
Its a bit similar to Blind Lemon's Matchbox Blues which I already know. Tricky one to play though. Take care, Dan
