@932Tuber delta Y/delta x is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry important to remember. its hard to explain but its like one of those things you just need to remember. it relates to vectors and the pythagorean theorem really if thats what gets you rto remember it.

I took the placement test to get into calculus, but they placed me into precal. Why do you think that is? Is precl the highest math you can get placed into in terms of a freshman placement test?

@zidane583 you can't fail. It's a placement test (I'm assuming you're taking the same thing as me which is the COMPASS test). The test is just determining where you will start when you begin school again. I haven't been school since I graduated high school in 2007 so I don't remember anything either.
